Keep the Faith

When people are diagnosed with cancer they go through a range of emotions. Anger, jealousy (why me, not him/her), rage, bitterness, self-pity and many many more. This is extremely common; please do not feel guilty for any of these thoughts. My dad went through the same process but one thing he did not have was a big religious faith. Always keep the faith in your religion, keep praying everyday, he is listening. Sharing your feelings with others is fantastic for lifting the weight off your shoulders.

I cannot stress this point enough that YOU MUST AT ALL TIMES REMAIN POSITIVE.

People do beat cancer, you can get through this but you must remain positive. Some people do nothing wrong to cause themselves having cancer, it sometimes is purely down to genetics. So do not beat yourself up about why you have cancer, you just get more and more depressed. Become involved every step of the way, ask your doctor, nurses and pharmacists questions all the time. Sometimes they can forget to tell you things and sometimes you do not hear what they are saying. They will not mind you asking questions; it keeps you more focused on your treatment rather than your cancer. Try to laugh and smile as much as possible, surround yourself with children especially if you have grandchildren they are a fantastic tonic. Tell your cancer everyday you are going to beat it.

Lastly good luck and God bless, and remember PEOPLE OF ALL AGES DO BEAT CANCER.
